Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Develop Credit Risk Policies:
• Define, develop, and maintain credit risk policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Continuously update policies to reflect changes in the business environment and industry requirements, incorporating knowledge of BNPL product.
2. Manage Credit Portfolio:
• Build and maintain the credit portfolio, including classification and risk assessment of each credit exposure.
• Evaluate and propose adjustments to the portfolio to optimize performance and minimize risk, while integrating knowledge of BNPL product into portfolio management.
3. Lead Underwriting Team:
• Lead and manage the underwriting team responsible for assessing creditworthiness and approving credit applications.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure consistent and accurate underwriting decisions.
4. Analysis and Risk Assessment:
• Conduct analysis and risk assessment for transactions and potential customers, with deep understanding of BNPL product.
• Utilize analytical tools and models to quantify risks and identify potential risk factors.
5. Participate in Credit Management Process:
• Engage in the credit management process, including determining and establishing credit limits, credit assessment, and bad debt management. Provide suggestions and recommendations to improve processes and optimize credit performance, integrating knowledge of BNPL product into credit management.
6. Reporting and Evaluation:
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on portfolio performance and credit risk policy effectiveness.
• Evaluate and propose improvements based on feedback from reports and assessments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in credit risk management, with specific experience in policy development and portfolio management, along with solid knowledge of BNPL product.
- Deep knowledge of risk assessment and quantification methods, along with understanding of industry regulations and credit standards.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, along with the ability to work independently and in a team.
