SUMMARY:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern with a strong aptitude for data analysis to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data while also contributing to data-driven insights for process improvement. You will gain valuable experience in reconciliation processes, learn about financial operations within a Fintech company, and contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our business.
JOB DESCRIPTION
General:
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve outstanding items and improve data quality.
- Adhere to internal controls and regulatory/process requirements related to reconciliation.
1. Reconciliation (60%):

- Compare and verify data from multiple sources, including internal systems and third-party reports.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies, ensuring all transactions are properly accounted for.
- Resolve reconciliation issues in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain detailed records of reconciliation activities and findings.
2. Data Analysis (40%):

- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas of risk as well as improvement.
- Develop and generate reports to communicate findings and insights to the stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and improvement of reconciliation processes based on data and company workflows.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor‘s or Master’s degree in a technology-related field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting or other related field
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in data.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel) and data manipulation techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Basic understanding of data analysis principles and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- A strong work ethic, a proactive approach, and a willingness to learn.
